Edie sits by the window and waits for him to come home. When she see the old ute pull up through the gate, she applies her red lipstick, fluffs her hair and arranges the flowers to be just so. Life on the farm was not her idea of glamour, yet she made the old timber shack a warm and friendly home full of life and personality.
